Wrap Up For Another
Fabulous Film Shoot with Clive Eardley...
Late September 2004
One of the things many
fans say about Clive Eardley's sparkling photos of the Summer Wine shoots
is that the sun always appears to be shining. "Just like the
series, there is always plenty of colour and sunny weather in Clive's
photos," said one fan, Josh Wilson, in an email to the Summer Wine
site.
Well, you will see glimpses of blue sky in these photos - but in total
contrast to Clive recent's glossies, there is very little warm
sunshine!
Or as Clive said, it was frankly freezing! You will notice that some of
the cast are heavily wrapped up in jackets and overcoats while waiting for
their slot in front of the cameras. Brrrrr!
And, lets face it, the moors above Holmfirth can be quite exposed and are
not the first choice of for many people on an early Sunday morning. On
other hand, who needs sunshine when the Summer Wine cast are about?
As you will see in the following photos, there is plenty of warmth and
bright sunny looks coming from the faces of our favourite characters in
Last of the Summer Wine.
So, grab your flask of hot tea, a bacon butty and a good warm jacket
and scarf and join Clive on the windswept moors above Holmfirth.
Enjoy the photos. As usual they will take several moments to download.
Please be patient - they are well worth the wait. Many thanks again Clive
for braving the elements for our fans!
