June- July 2006

Exciting surprises in store this year see guest appearances from Eric Sykes of Sykes fame as he plays Doggie Wilkinson and Mark Curry a Yorkshire lad remembered from his stint on Blue Peter as a man looking for flying saucers in Holmfirth.

The following stills show filming of the first production block of the first five episodes that completed location filming in July of this year.

The first 5 episodes are now in the can using state of the art technology with the new technology of hi definition using a Viper camera.

This will be the second year that the programme has used hi def quality.

August 2006

The 2nd block of filming will cover episodes 6 through to 10 and a very special Christmas episode to be shown over the Christmas period with a Christmas theme.

September 2006

The event of the decade as no one will want to miss the opportunity to meet the cast and crew of Last of the Summer Wine as they all gather to celebrate the programme in style at Pinewood studios on Sunday 24th September this includes a buffet lunch, auction and an opportunity to meet the stars of the show.

Summer Wine Appreciation Society member gets a reduced entrance by £10.

November 2006

In November Peter Sallis launches his autobiography Fading Into The Limelight: The Autobiography.
