Clive Eardley Page  Many
thanks to Clive Eardley, pictured right, President of the Last of the
Summer Wine Appreciation Society, for emailing the following photos
direct from this weekend's new season
previews at the Leatherhead Theatre in Leatherhead.He sent the following roundup:
As usual, the three shows had over
300 to 400 vocal enthusiasts in the audience,
and all the performances were sold out.
The six programmes are all very funny - in fact some of the very best.
As you
can see a large number of the cast turned up to entertain the audience
including new regular June Whitfield.
A guest star in one of the new episodes is
the wonderful Valerie Leon, famous for
her roles in the James Bond, Carry On and
Hammer films.
A fantastic night was had by all. The new series is due to start in the early spring, 2006. We can hardly wait!
