When Barry decides to become more assertive at work it leads to all manner

Compo,Clegg and Truly go to France to lay a wreath for the Millenium in
this special episode. Re introduces Keith Clifford as Billy Hardcastle
Introduces dora Bryan as Ros Edie's sister.
Lipstick and Other
problems
To get Barry out of a difficult situation Compo,Clegg and Truly decide to
become involved in a sponsered kiss for charity.
Under the
Rug
Howard decides to start wearing a wig but first he uses Clegg as a guinea
pig to road test the wig.
Magic and the
Morris Minor
Stanley and Belle arrive on the scene with their Morris Minor and Belle
believes that she can fortell the future with the Morris Minor hubcap.
Last on screen appearance of Bill Owen as Compo who died shortly after
filming these 3 episodes and the millenium Special.
Elegy for fallen
Wellies
The unexpected glimpse of Nora in tights and a fancy costume is far too
much for Compo. Later is friends gather to give him a proper and fitting
send off.
Surprise at
Throstlenest
There's a big surprise in store when Clegg and Truly try to carry out
Compo's last wish. They find out where he spent all his Thursday's.

Funeral
It's the day of Compo's funeral and Clegg and Truly intend it to be no
ordinary day.

Paternity
Following his father's death. A letter arrives from Compo's son saying
that he is coming to see his father but he has yet to find out the sad
news. Introduces Tom Owen as Tom Simmonite. Bill Owen's real son playing
Compo's son. Also introduces Julie T Wallace as Mrs Avery and the
character of Babs.
Some Vans Can Make
You Deaf
Tom needs a new exhaust for his van and Wesley is left with the job of
finding a suitable replacement.
Waggoners
Roll
Tom wants to audition Babs for her talent at singing but it seems the only
talent she has is for evacuating the local pub.
I Did'nt
Know Barry Could Play
Tom gives Truly and Clegg the job of delivering some music for him. He
doesn't tell them it's a musical organ.

Getting Barry's
Goat
The repo man is looking for Tom to get his payments, meanwhile Tom has
moved into his father's house with Mrs Avery and asked Barry to store some
items in his garage.
The Art of the Shorts Story
Howard has lost his shorts so he asks Billy Hardcastle to lend him a pair
in order to get out of hot water with Pearl.
The Missing Bus of Mrs Avery
Clegg, Truly, Billy, Tom and Smiler road test some motorbikes for Auntie
Wainwright whilst Mrs Avery take the ladies on a picnic.
Hey Big Vendor
Wesley lends his latest invention a vending machine to the ladies for
their church fete but it is no ordinary vending machine as they soon find
out.
Enter The Hawk
Tom goes into the carpet business but it's Mrs Avery who is doing all the
work. Billy Hardcastle meanwhile has taken on a new identity as The Hawk
.
Gnome and Away
Howard leaves a strange parcel with Clegg a five-foot garden gnome but
this is no ordinary one it sings and is very difficult to shut up. The
question is how do they get it by the ladies having coffee in Pearl's
house next door
A Hair of the Blonde That Bit You
Howard has o find an excuse when Pearl discovers a blonde hair on him. Tom
has an idea of how to help him out. Smiler meanwhile goes for an
unexpected ride.
A White Sweater and a Solicitors Letter
Tom receives a letter from a solicitors to find out that his fathers
bookie has left his father something in his will. Barry decides to take up
model aircraft flying.
Why is Barry at an
Angle
Barry is worried because he has to call on the Hacketts but the men paint
a grim picture of this terrifying family. Howard and Marina meanwhile have
become inseparable in more ways than one.
The Coming of the
Beast
Truly spreads the rumour that there is a tiger on the loose and puts the
town in a panic. Wesley has got a new invention and Barry has the chance
to try it out. Return of Norman Wisdom as Billy Ingleton.

Christmas Special
Potts in Pole Position
Clegg, Truly and Billy encounter Mr and Mrs Potts. Mr Potts wants to go to
the South Pole but his wife has other ideas so the boys have to get them
back together again.
A Brief Excursion in the Fast Lane
Tom has been thrown out by Mrs Avery and ends up moving in with Smiler.
The boys test out some scooters and Barry decides that he wants to
experience life in the fast lane by testing Wesley's motorised
scooter.
The Mystical Squeak of Howard's Bicycle
Billy brags that he has a sixth sense whilst Clegg attempts to perform an
exorcism on Howard's haunted bicycle.
Mervyn Would be Proud
Billy has been spreading stories about his Robin Hood gang and Mervyn a
fan is now following them round the town. Mervyn tells Billy that he has
promised the vicar a bow and arrow demonstration..
The Incredible
Ordeal of Norman Clegg
Norman Clegg has been left many things in the past to look after for
Howard but never a Marina. But how can she be possibly be smuggled out of
his house without the ladies noticing.
Beware of the Hotdog
Wesley gets Barry and the boys to test out his latest invention a hot dog
machine but it is fierce and burns everything up as well as shingling the
eyebrows. Nora has left to visit her sister in Australia.
In Search of Childlike Joy and the Farthest
reaches of the Lotus Position
Wesley and Tom persuade Smiler to test out his childlike joy by testing a
go-cart. But he ends up fast in a hedge and Barry becomes entangled under
different circumstances when he takes up yoga.
A Chaise Lounge Too Far
Tom sells Auntie Wainwright a Chaise Lounge but she sells it to Barry. It
provides the escape route for Howard to have a secret meeting with Marina
or does it?

Father's Bicycle
Tom decides to test out his father's old bike but the boys exaggerate some
of the tricks his father used to do on the bike.
Sadly, Madly, Bradley
Billy's brother in law Bradley has no sense of humour so the boys try to
cheer him up.. How can a rubber boat solve their problem?
It All Began with an Old Volvo
Headlamp
The three encounter Kevin, a man with a broken heart. He
decides to become The Wise Man of the Woods in order to get back the love
of his life Cindy Fritters.
