About
Gerald...
Gerald David Hayne
Age: 62
Lives: Sidmouth, Devon
Married to: Ruth (3 grown-up children in various parts of the world)
Worked: all my life as an NHS Manager (from Administrator to General Manager) in Primary Health Care mostly in southern England,
now retired.
Interests: have served as a magistrate since 1985 and am currently Deputy Chairman of the Central Devon Bench.
In the sixties and seventies and also during the last 10 years have been a semi-professional musician working with various bands, most recently with a soul band based in the West Country.
Have given this up due to success of band which is now working rather more than I wished to. I take an active role in supporting the Samaritans
organisation. Am a great fan of motor racing and motor sport
generally.
A member of the Summer Wine Appreciation Society and an avid fan of LOSW with a
collection of videos and dvds plus a tendency to attend anything to do with it such as reunions, screenings etc. I have many friends and contacts
in Yorkshire and enjoy visiting the area whenever I can despite the distance from Devon.
