Three men rehearsing - Summer 2001It may surprise you to know that Summer Wine Online is run on a voluntary basis with no financial support towards running costs.  Even better, it is run by enthusiasts who love the show - and love the area.

Now, the people behind Summer Wine Online are wanting to expand our coverage to bring you more details, photographs and exclusive interviews about the show.  We can only do this with your help.

We are very grateful to GameRoom Magazine (see below), based in New Jersey, USA, who advertise on our site, and the support is very helpful.  It recently allowed us to vigorously pursue the BBC in respect of the concern by fans over video deletions.  In the event, we finally got a worthwhile response from the BBC which was very satisfactory.  These are the sort of issues we would like to spend more time chasing up. We also took on a part-time co-ordinator for a short period to help develop the content, and respond to email enquiries from fans.

We are now looking for other individuals or organisations who may like to have their name on the site, as an advertiser or even a sponsor, in return for a contribution.

If you are interested, please contact us on summerwinetv@yahoo.com - we look forward to hearing from you.

Kindest regards
