| The
famous picnic bench, near the Crown Bottom car park just outside
the centre of Holmfirth. Fans will remember the Famous Three

where Tom tosses a stone into the water when he walks by the river
in the episode I didn't Know Barry Could Play. |

| Where
Last of the Summer Wine all started - New Fold Lane, Goose Green,

 |
| An
ideal place to visit in Holmfirth, the old remains of Yateholme
Farm in Victoria Park, just a few minutes from the centre. The
structure dates to the 8th Century and was removed here when a
reservoir submerged its original site. Compo, Clegg and Co have
enjoyed many a rest here, and one that springs to mind is Whos
That Dancing With Nora Batty Then and of course used for a
rendezvous for Howard and Marina. |
