G Shepherd Can
I just offer you and the Summer Wine team my congratulations for
your latest "classic" photos. I was stunned to see the old
photos from the show, I must have studied each picture for about 15
minutes, and then went back again. I have watched the show
since it started and these photographs brought back so many vivid
memories. It was really lovely to see pictures of Michael Bates
again, he has been largely ignored up to now. And just look at Compo
and Clegg - I thought they had always looked old N. Weston YOUR PHOTOS WERE OF EPISODES I HAD NEVER BEFORE SEEN IN THE STATES, THEY WERE TRULY SUMMER WINE MAGIC. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, MORE AUDIO DOWNLOADS AND MORE INTERVIEWS PLEASE. R. (full name supplied via email) Although I don't wish to reveal my full name and details, I know only too well about the effort involved in getting these photos ready to publish on the SW site, it was quite an effort and I would like to thank and congratulate everyone involved. I know they will bring a great deal of pleasure not only to fans but to all those connected with the world's longest running series. As the press would say, it is a once in a lifetime scoop! Montasse
Family Donald
Raynor I can remember those pictures from LOTSW first time round! What a lot of pleasure you have brought for me, and I am sure many other fans. I wish I was still the same age as I was when first clapping eyes on Compo, Clegg and Blamire. Those were the golden years, but the Summer Wine keeps getting better. EF, Ohio, USA I
can't speak for any other Americans, but I don't think we ever saw
any of the first very Summer Wines over here. How surprised was I to
see the strange "third" character. And I thought I
knew everything about SW. There was a whole life going on
before I started tuning in. Very odd. Please, please publish more of those fab pictures, they are an education. Well done to everyone at the site. Mr
and Mrs K Allbright
